My Brother's Voice

For our first book club selection, Diane has suggested "My Brother's Voice" by Stephen Nasser.

Diane said that this book is a short and easy read about a 14 year old Hungarian Jewish boy who survives in a work camp.

Let's give ourselves 2 weeks to get this book read and have it complete by September 2nd. On September 2nd, Diane will have a post up for our discussion of the book.

Has anyone tried to find this book at their library? I've tried 2 libraries here in Utah and they don't carry it. But I did find it on Amazon.com and it's pretty cheap to buy.

I haven't tried yet...I need to get cracking! Did you buy it?

There was one copy at my local library which I have checked out until the 29th. I am also buying it b/c it was already ordered for me for our book club. It hasn't come in yet. I will let you know when it does and you can borrow it. Amazon is a good route to get used books cheap.

I just bought the book used on Amazon.com and it only cost a little over 11.00 after tax and shipping! Anyone who is looking for the book can find lots more there for low prices!

I am out for this one because no LA public library has it.
