It is now time for us to select the next book that we will all begin reading on Monday, September 3rd. So please make a suggestion for a book that you would like to read next. If your book is selected, you will moderate the discussion and create a post on September 17th.
We are excited to hear what everyone suggests! However...you'll need to comment quickly with your selection because we would like to make a choice before the weekend in order to give everyone time to get the book!

I would like to suggest Fairest by Gail Carson Levine. It is an easy read about a girl who is pretty ugly, but sings beautifully. It is set in the same time period and setting as Ella Enchanted (same author...Ella is even mentioned once in the book), so if you loved that book/movie you will love Fairest.
I'm up for Fairest! I've been wanting to read it since it came out. I love Levine! Retold fairy tales is one of my favorite genres.
